FAQ & Studio Notes
Q: A painting captured my eye and heart. How do I welcome it into my space?

A: Every work is created in some closed contemplation until it finds its intended home. If a piece speaks to you, and you have an exact spot in mind, just send me a message via Telegram or Email. We can arrange its path to your wall.

Q: How long does a piece take to begin its journey?

A: Good things are prepared with patience and care. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for me to inspect, sign, and carefully pack your piece in my studio in Northern Ireland. Once dispatched, travel usually takes up to 14 business days, depends on horses.

Q: Do you send artworks across distant lands and oceans?

A: Yes, works are sent safely to collectors around the globe. If your location seems unusual or hard to reach, just reach out directly, and we will find a way to deliver it to your hands.

Q: Will I be able to track my parcel on its way?

A: Yes, absolutely. As soon as your piece is with the carrier, I will send you a personal letter with a personal tracking number so you can watch its journey all the way to your door.

Q: What about international customs and import duties?

A: Depending on your country's regulations, local customs fees or taxes may apply upon arrival. As these belong to local authorities, they are not included in the artwork price and remain the responsibility of the recipient. Be sure to let me know how it went!

Q: Is your touch left upon every piece?

A: Always. Every original piece and fine art sheet is signed by hand — a quiet token of authenticity and gratitude from the studio.

Q: How do delicate sheets of paper survive the long road?

A: With devotion and careful stewardship. Artworks are wrapped in protective archival materials and secured inside sturdy, reinforced packaging so they rest safely through any weather or journey.

Q: What if a piece arrives bruised or damaged along the way?

A: It is rare but possible. Given the unique nature of original artwork, all sales are final. However, if a parcel suffers a rough path and arrives damaged, please take clear photographs of the outer packaging and the artwork within 48 hours of delivery. I will arrange either a full refund or a replacement work (or a custom solution if it was a one-of-a-kind original) so you are completely covered.

Q: Do the artworks come framed or unframed?

A: To ensure safe, unblemished travel across long journey, all works on paper are shipped unframed (and without glass). This allows you the freedom to choose a frame and mat (passe-partout) that perfectly matches your home's light and interior. I most likely include detailed care and framing recommendations are always included in your package, if I'll remember.

Q: How should I care for my watercolor piece?

A: Originals are created using professional, lightfast pigments on 100% cotton archival paper. To preserve clarity and depth for generations, it is best to frame them behind UV-protective glass and hang them away from direct, intense sunlight and high humidity. Though an ordinary frame works wonderfully too—I use archival materials built to last. Just please don't spill coffee, tea, or anything else on it!
